Jack brings a wealth of musical expertise with a First Class Degree in Music and a Masters in Composition. With two decades of tutoring experience, including previous roles as both a freelance tutor and Music Leader for the Sheffield Music Hub, Jack co-founded Lowe Academy of Music and the Arts in 2017. His diverse background includes impressive stints in Arts Administration, notably as Concerts Administrator for the acclaimed Aurora Orchestra, and as a member of the Production team at London’s Southbank Centre. Jack also shines as a session musician on double bass and bass guitar.

Emily, an international speaker on Gender Inclusivity in Vocal Education and a Performing Arts graduate from the University of Sunderland, boasts an impressive career performing with top acts in Europe, including Andrea Bocelli's UK Arena Tour and Ray Davies' Meltdown finale at the Royal Festival Hall. Her recording credits feature on movie soundtracks like The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Life of Pi. As a previous member of the acclaimed Crouch End Festival Chorus, Emily brings extensive experience in classical and popular performance. Specializing in children's workshops and whole-class music sessions, Emily, with 11 years of dedicated voice teaching experience, is currently pursuing a Master's in voice pedagogy. Her passion lies in creating an inclusive framework for adolescents, contributing to the emerging field of trans*+ and gender-expansive voices. Her goal is to empower young voices, fostering an environment where every voice can thrive authentically.
Lexi is a seasoned vocalist and vocal coach with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. Trained at The Italia Conti of Theatre Arts, she has earned her Grade 8 in vocals with Trinity Rockschool. With 7 years of coaching experience, Lexi blends the Estill Technique and performance support to enhance confidence, vocal anatomy knowledge, techniques, and overall vocal health. Tailoring lessons to individual goals, her expertise suits all ages and abilities. As a qualified vocal first aider, Lexi is dedicated to imparting tips for optimal vocal care, sharing her passion for singing to unlock each student's true potential.
Alfie has had a lifelong passion for music. Beginning his journey as a cellist, he quickly expanded his skills to include piano, bass, drums, and guitar. With a strong foundation in composition, production, and performance, he takes great pleasure in teaching and inspiring his students to share his love for music. A recent graduate of the University of Sheffield, Alfie is deeply engaged with the local music scene and encourages his students to participate in musical groups and ensembles to enhance their learning experience.
Andrew, a highly skilled musician, began his musical journey as a young child, evolving from piano to singing. A 2012 Sheffield University graduate, he's an inspirational music educator, working with pupils of all ages and organising choirs. His passion is sharing musical knowledge to inspire understanding and enjoyment.
Barney, a first-class graduate in Music and Music Production from the University of Huddersfield, specializes in eclectic rock, pop, and electronic music. With an MA in Composition from the University of Sheffield, they actively engage in composing for film and animation. Currently, Barney writes, produces, and performs in their project "chiibo," while also tutoring in performance, songwriting, and music production.
Chris discovered his passion for drumming at the age of 12, and since then, he has immersed himself in the world of rhythm. With experience playing in multiple bands across the UK, Chris brings a wealth of practical knowledge to his role. Over the past 5 years, he has dedicated himself to teaching, taking pride in fostering a serene and creative atmosphere for students to freely express themselves and cultivate their musical skills.
A popular music Degree graduate from Leeds College of Music, Eric is an enthusiastic and friendly Guitar teacher. Eric can teach Beginner Guitar to Advanced Guitar in an array of different styles from Rock to Jazz to Folk as well as all other genres.
A talented Thai-N.Irish flautist, pianist, and composer, Hannah combines various genres in her performances intertwining indie, rock, metal, and classical influences. Her open-minded teaching approach emphasizes that every child deserves a music education.
With over 15 years of professional experience in the music industry, Jay is a versatile artist, educator, and advocate for creative exploration. As a Rapper, Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Sound Technician - he brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his role as music tutor.

My journey eventually brought me back to education, where I achieved a 1st class with honours in Music Technology from a London university."
Committed to opening doors for the next generation, Jay aims to provide resources, share knowledge, and in-still confidence in young people across his community, empowering them to explore their creative potential and thrive.

A passionate guitarist and teacher from NYC, Kevin holds a BA (Hons) degree in Audio Production. With over a decade of teaching experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge in guitar, bass, and ukulele, along with a fervor for music education.
Lennon began playing the drums, along with guitar and bass, at 12 years old. Since then, he has achieved Grade 8 in the drumkit, and earned a BA degree in music from the University of Sheffield. He has played in a wide variety of bands, as well as session drumming for numerous artists. He allows his students to lead the direction of their learning, while making sure they have the appropriate skills to become a great musician!
Lucy has performed professionally for over 14 years, mainly specialising in pop and musical theatre. Having trained classically from a young age and performed in many musical theatre shows such as Miss Saigon, The Wizard of Oz, Little Shop of Horrors and The Lion King, Lucy went on to appear on ITV’s The Voice UK in 2018 and reached the semi finals under the expert coaching of Sir Tom Jones. Having recently completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Music, Lucy now attends Leeds Conservatoire studying a Masters in Music.
Tobias, a versatile guitarist and bassist, also boasts music production expertise. Armed with a degree from Goldsmiths University of London, he navigates diverse musical realms, contributing to everything from pop bands to experimental electronic groups. With a multifaceted skill set, Tobias enriches our music tutor team.
