Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking dedicated and skilled music tutors who:
- Have expertise in one or more instruments (including Music Production and Rap).
- Are passionate about teaching and inspiring students of all ages and abilities.
- Possess excellent communication skills, particularly with children.
- Have relevant skills tailored to modern popular music.
- Are reliable, organised, and punctual, with strong time management skills.
- Hold a valid DBS certificate or are willing to undergo one.
- Have Public Liability Insurance (or are willing to obtain it).
- Are familiar with Safeguarding Practices (training will be provided if necessary).
Key Responsibilities
- Teach predominantly 1:1 and/or small group lessons during the Sheffield school term calendar.
- Lead larger group ensembles in schools (e.g. Choirs, Rock Bands, Orchestras, Ukulele Classes)
- Deliver lessons in schools and at our Sharrow Vale Education Centre.
- Inspire young musicians through engaging and high-quality tuition.
- Shadow our existing tutor team initially before taking on independent responsibilities.

Requirements
- Availability for weekday teaching during school hours and selected evenings.
- Willing to travel to schools based in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
- Evidence of experience as a musician and educator.
- Commitment to working in a self-employed freelance capacity.
On Successful Appointment, You Must:
- Agree to an Enhanced DBS check.
- Provide evidence of the right to work in the UK.
- Undertake safeguarding training.
- Provide evidence of your own public liability insurance.
